Janet Costa brings decades of experience to her role as Mortgage Loan Officer. She began her banking career in 1990 and has held many positions, including roles in Loan Operations and Compliance. Since 2000, she has focused on mortgage lending. She is especially attuned to the needs of first-time home buyers. She is also well-versed in the array of government programs available, including VA, FHA, and USDA. An integral part of Mascoma Bank, she finds it very rewarding to assist borrowers in achieving their dream of home ownership.

Outside of work, Janet serves as Treasurer for the town of Littleton and has acted as trustee of the trust funds in the past. She also volunteers for AHEAD, an organization that strives to make homeownership affordable and sustainable for all. Plus, Janet puts her creativity to use by making quilts for service members and veterans through the Quilts of Valor Foundation.
